We recently took part in a Grade One (Beginner) whitewater skills training day on the Nepean River. Many thanks to Kevin Songberg for running some great training.

More whitewater skills sessions are being planned here on the Nepean. It’s a good place to start out—not too intimidating. The floods have changed it into a wide section of river with numerous shoots—only paddleable when the river is up a bit though.

Meanwhile, the Spring Safari is also happening this year, in October. It’s Grade One and Grade Two whitewater—check the Club calendar for details.
