This trip is on the tidal waters of Port Hacking starting and ending in Yowie Bay. It is intended to travel to Reids Flat at Audley for lunch. Depending on the paddling group and conditions, some creeks may be explored enroute to Audley. The total distance will be around 18km.
To participate in this paddle, you must be able to wet-exit, be confident in treading water, and be able to perform an assisted deep water rescue. You must be able to paddle 15km at a speed of 6km/hr.
Important: Note that the weather forecast for Saturday is currently 13-30mm of rain, light winds and temperature of 20 degrees. You should expect to get wet and must have a change of clothes and a waterproof top top paddle in.
Club boats can be used but paddlers will need to arrange their own transport (including the boat) to and from the venue.
