Hawkesbury River paddle – Mooney Mooney to Patonga return

Join us for a day exploring the beautiful Hawkesbury River.

We will meet at Mooney Mooney at 9.30am before paddling east under the bridge.

Our group will pass Spectacle, Long and Dangar Islands, and eventually enter the open waters of Broken Bay.

We will likely hug the coastline on our way to picturesque Patonga Beach, where we will stop for lunch and a rest.

Then we will paddle the return leg, with the possibility of rounding Dangar or Long from a different side.

Expect to paddle up to 25km. This is not for beginners (please see other club paddles) and participants should be able to wet exit and swim.
