Nepean Winter Daytrip

The Club had seven paddlers out on the Nepean River at Douglas Park, paddling 19km on a beautiful winter’s day.
It was a cool 4 degrees on arrival, but warmed up a little during the day. Paddling in the sunshine was an distinct advantage. In that whole time we encountered just one other paddler—so if you’re after a nice flatwater paddle that’s away from other river traffic, this is the place to be.
