The Wolli Creek Preservation Society is partnering with the River Canoe Club of NSW (RCC) to run our popular Wolli Creek Eco Paddle on Saturday, 9 September 2023 from 1pm to 4.00 pm. The paddle will start from the RCC clubhouse, Richardson Crescent, Marrickville, and finish with light afternoon refreshments back at the clubhouse.
The RCC will provide paddle guidance, and all the gear including canoes and life jackets. The Wolli Creek Preservation Society will provide an informative guided tour. You will get a very different view of the Wolli Creek Valley from creek level whilst learning about local wildlife, history and the environment. The tour is also a great chance to get a gentle and short introduction to paddling as we cater for beginners.
Ticket price is $75 per person (which includes a 1 month RCC trial membership, and Paddle Aust. insurance cover) or $55 for existing RCC members.Young people from 10 – 17 years are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
