Colo River Kayak (Expressions of Interest)

Is anyone interested in paddling the Colo River on Sunday the 8th November? There’s potentially a few options for a 15 to 20km paddle either up or downstream from Colo River Reserve.

I’m thinking to head upstream from Colo River Reserve from late morning to take advantage of the incoming tide. We could paddle one way to Upper Colo Reserve and do a car shuttle or alternatively paddle back to the starting point. I’d also be interested in advice from anyone who has paddled this section before.

This is a flatwater trip suitable for novice paddlers and could be paddled in a canoe or kayak. Club boats can be hired by prior arrangement,  but you will need to be able to transport your boat from the clubhouse and back.
