With an early start, we explored the beautiful Balmain foreshore, along with many of the Harbour islands: Spectacle, Snapper, Cockatoo and Goat Islands. We also had a coffee break in Pyrmont. You can Relive the trip here.
John Ward adds: Twelve paddlers was a great turnout. The photos were difficult in the harsh morning light and don’t do it justice. It really is a spectacular harbour and seeing it from a kayak is the best. After seventeen years in Australia I finally paddled in the harbour and it was great! Many thanks to Stephanie and Thalie for organising and leading this paddle.
