This session will provide an overview of the process for planning and running a flat-water paddle under the club framework.
All club paddles are planned and run by club volunteers. It’s a rewarding process for the organiser who not only gives something to our members, but invariably learns useful skills in the process. You don’t need to be the on-water leader to organise a paddle and the club has systems in place to guide the process. This includes templates and a library of existing plans covering common destinations. The club also has experienced people to assist.
Come to this session to learn a little about the process. For those that are interested to have a go we will run a more detailed, no obligation, workshop to guide you through the process of organising a trip. Come along with an open mind and learn about this rewarding aspect of the club.
