How to join
Step 1: Browse to Paddle Australia
The Paddle Australia Membership Portal is your starting point for joining paddling clubs anywhere in Australia. When you join the River Canoe Club you also automatically join Paddle Australia and PaddleNSW. Joining these associations ensures that you and the Club covered when you’re out on the water on a Club event.
Step 2: Create your Paddle Australia profile
Click the New Member Sign Up link, fill out your details and you now have your very own Profile page on Paddle Australia. You’ll see a list of your Clubs in the right-hand panel. Initially, this will be empty, so the next step will be to select a Club.
Step 3: Find the River Canoe Club
The Select Club button will display a Club Finder popup dialog. Look for us right near Sydney Airport, just a little north-west of Botany Bay. You can search for “River Canoe Club” in the search field to help locate us. Once you select River Canoe Club, you’ll see us in your list of Clubs, along with PaddleNSW (which you’ll also join automatically).
Step 4: Choose your River Canoe Club membership type
From your My Profile page, click Membership, then Add, Upgrade or Renew Your Membership.
You can choose from Adult, Junior, Family, Volunteer or Adult Social (No Paddling) annual membership options. Additionally, if you’ve never been a member of Paddle Australia before, you can choose a one month Trial option.
Once you select your desired membership, you’ll be taken to the billing platform, and once completed—congratulations, you’re now a full member of the River Canoe Club of New South Wales, along with PaddleNSW and Paddle Australia. Now get out there and start paddling!
