As the longest day turns to night, we’ll gather on the river for a gentle paddle and a moment of reflection. This night paddle is an opportunity to come together, slow down, and light a candle for hope and peace following the tragic events in Bondi.
Aiming to be on the water at 8pm. Bring a headtorch or light.
We’ll paddle at an easy pace and pause briefly on the river to light candles before returning to the clubhouse.
I’ll bring candles and small banana-leaf boats for anyone who would like to take part – you’re also very welcome to simply paddle alongside if you prefer.

p.s. I understand that non-paraffin candles and small cocktail boats made from natural fibres are the best option for the river. If anyone has other ideas, I’d love to hear them
