Please find below a reminder to register your club’s attendees for the upcoming online follow-up training session about important changes to the sport’s integrity, disciplinary and grievance policies.

It is important to note that your club committee and all of your club members are bound by the policies that will be covered in the training, so attendance is crucial.   A lack of understanding of the policies is not a protection if / when a policy breach is reported.

The training will focus on changes to the following Paddle Australia policies, with the new policies taking effect on 5 August 2023 – copies are available on the sport integrity webpage:

  • National Integrity Framework
  • Code of Behaviour Policy
  • Personal Grievances Policy

Through this training, clubs will benefit from practical guidance (including case studies and common pitfalls to avoid) and understanding the support available from the PA National Integrity Manager.

We kindly request that at least one key representative (eg President/Vice-President/Secretary) and/or relevant official (eg Member Protection Information Officer) attends on behalf of your Club, however, we strongly encourage multiple representatives to attend if possible.

When:   Session 1: Monday 18 September, 6.00-7.30pm AEST.

Session 2: Tuesday 26 September, 7.30-9.00pm AEST.

NB: the 2 sessions are alternatives, and each will cover exactly the same ground.
