It’s the AGM time of year, and we hope to see you at the Club on Saturday 28 September.
The AGM is an opportunity to be part of the club operations whether it is contributing to voting in a new committee or putting your hand up to get involved. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the year past and the year to come.
We’ve got lots on the ‘agenda’ aside from the 30 min AGM,
- 2-4 pm pre-event paddle out of the Clubhouse (See club calendar for separate event)
- 4pm-5:30pm BBQ and Photo Comp viewing and voting (See more details below)
- 5:30 – 6:00pm AGM Formalities
- 6:00-10:00pm BBQ/Party and Photo Comp Awards

RCC Photo Competition
Fancy your photo in the 2025 RCC Calendar or on the clubhouse wall?
We are inviting all members to send a maximum of 4 photos taken by you whilst
paddling in any of the following categories during the last 12 months
- RCC People
- Abstract
- Landscape
- Wildlife
The best 10 in each category will be displayed in the clubroom and be voted on at
the Annual General Meeting on Saturday the 28th September.
As the barbecue heats up, members can share stories about their photos and select
their favourites.
At the AGM members are asked to vote on their favourite photos for inclusion in the
calendar and/or used in decorating the clubhouse. Approximately 30-40 photos will
be included in the calendar.
A prize will be given to the most popular photo in each category, selected by the
members on the day.
The RCC calendar will be ready for distribution in early December, in time for
Christmas. Pre orders can be taken at the AGM at $15.00 per calendar.
How to enter
Please send your jpeg images to riversphotocomp@gmail.com with your name,
category, location and date of photos by Tues 24th Sept 6pm – we’ll print a 5×7
image and have it ready for viewing at the AGM. If you prefer NOT to have the image
published in a RCC calendar please let us know.
