The Last Swallow of Summer
At Maianbar, festivities will be held on the main balcony, and I expect drinking, eating and cheering will occur.
On Sunday, the 30 km return journey will be made.
This is for experienced open water kayakers only.
Those with less experience are welcome to join me with the options of departures from Yowie Bay or Wally’s wharf. If weather conditions are poor, the trip will start at Yowie Bay.
Guidelines are as follows:
1. Everyone should be a member of the club. If you’re not a member then you can attend if you have a trial membership or take out a single event entry and pay the associated fees. (This ensures you are covered for insurance purposes)
2. You will need to wear protective footwear, and suitable clothing that will likely get wet during the event.
How to sign-up
If you require use of a club kayak then there is a 50 dollar usage fee for weekend events. We rely on our members honesty to transfer the money into the clubs bank account. All transport of such kayak is the responsibility of the participant and must be transported using kayak racks.
