Hello River Canoe Club
The Club has started a tradition of undertaking a canoe expedition in the week of the Australia Day Public Holiday and 2026 we will continue this tradition.
We will be heading to the Murrumbidgee River again in January 2026 to paddle a classic moving water section Nanangroe to Gundagai.
The trip will be over 4 days from Sunday 25th Jan to Wednesday 28th Jan
While this trip is best suited to canoes it is possible to paddle a kayak.
The trip will be a moving trip with up to Grade 1 rapid. We will be self supported remote camping each night from our canoes.
All your equipment for the weekend will need to be packed in water proof bags or barrels and stored in your canoe or kayak. Although we will be having dinner at one of the pubs in Jugiong one of the nights.
