The PaddleNSW AGM is still on Sept 22 and Richard Barnes will also be talking about his Blue Moon adventures – Blue Moon is a kayak Richard designed himself, he can sleep inside it and plans to paddle to NZ in it. His first attempt several months ago was thwarted by weather and unhelpful currents. Richard has also done numerous Bass Strait crossings and has paddled in several countries around the world. Definitely some interesting stories and insight to hear!
