Join us for a relaxed and enjoyable paddle starting and finishing at the RCC Clubhouse. We’ll head out into the bay towards either La Perouse or Kurnell for a scenic lunch stop, with some gentle open‑water crossings along the way.
The forecast is looking great—partly cloudy skies, light northerly winds, and a pleasant top of 22°C. With low tide at 12:01 pm, conditions should be in our favour for both the outbound and return journey. Expect a total distance of around 25 km.
To take part, you’ll need a sea kayak of at least 4.8 m and be comfortable paddling 20 km or more. You must be able to maintain a speed of 6km/hr for 90 minutes at a time. Basic safety skills are important too, including the ability to wet exit and perform an assisted re-entry. Club boats are available.
We will meet at the club at 9am to be on the water by 9:30am. If you need longer to get ready please arrive early.
